Manufacturing and Construction positions pay weekly

We want the right Manufacturing Employee to join us at Ryder and work with State of the Art Equipment in the Safest Warehouse Environment

+ Products Being Handled: Pallets

+ Equipment: Painting tools

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PALLET REPAIR OPERATORS

+ Will use a pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other powered/hand tools to repair or assemble pallets

+ You will be placing pallets on repair table, removing defective boards, replacing with new boards and securing boards into place.

+ Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and lifting up to 75 pounds throughout entire shift

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ 1 to 2 years or more in working in a fast-paced environment preferred

+ 0 to 1 year in Carpentry, Manufacturing Environment preferred

+ Ability to comprehend basic math

+ Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs

+ Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner

+ Ability to follow inspecting process

+ Able to work at a steady, fast pace

Responsibilities

+ Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands

+ Identifies, examines, accepts, rejects and disposes of material used in construction and repair of pallets

+ Uses basic processes of inspection/examination procedures for material

+ Operate tools and equipment in performance of work assignments

+ Prepare labels as required

+ Performs other duties as assigned
