    GENERAL FUNCTION:

    T he Communications Specialist – Content and Editorial create s and publishes clear, compelling, consistent, and accurate content and communications. Builds credibility as a trusted partner through a balance of business acumen, effective communication, project management and client relationships.

     

    Provides a broad spectrum of internal communications, including proactively sourcing story and content ideas from within the organization to create, writ e , edit and distribute clear ,  compelling, and consistent deliverables. Collaborates with corporate communications, divisions and line of business partners to develop content.

     

    Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues . E nsures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying , assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Identif ies ,  create s  and curate s high-quality content for th e company’s intranet.

    + Identifies and implements content and communication strategies across multiple mediums and channels.

    + Collaborate s  with cross-functional teams, designers, videographers, and subject matter experts.

    + Deliver s against editorial calendars and ensures all content is consistent with our Brand, Vision, Purpose and Value s .

    + Champion s employee engagement by promoting interactive features, campaigns, and storytelling.

    + Partner s with Technology and Human Capital teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration with other digital workplace tools.

    + Monitor s  and analyze s content performance to continuously improve the user experience through design enhancements, personalization, and feedback loops.

    + Establish es  and enforce s governance policies, content standards, and publishing workflows. Collaborate s with internal stakeholders to ensure  timely  updates and consistent messaging.

    + Assumes additional responsibilities as required to fulfill d epartmental goals.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    + Bachelor’s degree  required ; experience in banking or financial services preferred.

    + 3 to 5 years of  communications  experience.

    + Excellent attention to detail along with superb writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

    + Ability to deliver against tight deadlines when they arise, resolve issues, and propose solutions in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent project management skills and  exceptional at  multi-tasking and prioritizing.

    + Highly flexible and curious; able to quickly respond to changing or unanticipated needs and mobilize accordingly.

    + Strategic problem  solver  who can look around corners to  identify  potential obstacles and design thoughtful, creative solutions.

    + Willingness to work with all levels of employees and leaders across the organization, including key internal partners and executive  team  with discretion, sound  judgment  and a sense of humor.

    + Excellent computer skills. Must be proficient in technology utilized to communicate effectively such as Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Salesforce etc.

    + E xperience with analytics tools and user experience design preferred.

    + Self-motivated with excellent business acumen and strategic thinking skills.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    + Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.

    + Extended viewing of a CRT screen.

     

    Corporate Communications Specialist – Content and Editorial

     

    Total Base Pay Range 54,400.00 - 111,500.00 USD Annual

    The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
