    U-Box Operations Analyst (IN-HOUSE ONLY)Annual Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000Compensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Position Overview

     

    + Moving Help is seeking an experienced U-Box Operations Analyst to play a critical role in the oversight, optimization, and escalation management of U-Box operations. This position is intended for a seasoned professional with demonstrated experience managing complex operational challenges and driving meaningful process improvements.

    + The successful candidate will be a self-directed, solutions-oriented individual with strong operational judgment, capable of independently resolving multifaceted issues, influencing stakeholders across U-Haul, and implementing improvements that directly enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

    + This role requires the ability to operate with minimal supervision, confidently engage with senior leadership, and take ownership of high-impact decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Serve as a primary operational point of contact for complex and escalated U-Box and Moving Help issues.

    + Partner cross-functionally with field teams, internal departments, service providers, and leadership to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

    + Independently analyze emerging operational issues and develop strategic, actionable solutions.

    + Lead and manage difficult or sensitive conversations to resolve disputes, drive accountability, and uphold service standards.

    + Own the escalation, documentation, tracking, and reporting of bugs, claims, disputes, and systemic issues to management and application teams.

    + Actively promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement through process refinement, training, and operational feedback loops.

    + Handle both inbound and outbound calls related to escalated U-Box concerns, including mileage disputes, claims, and service failures.

    + Develop and maintain procedures, training materials, and operational documentation to improve consistency and performance.

    + Coach and support internal teams and service providers through complex operational scenarios.

    + Lead or contribute to special initiatives and cross-departmental projects, including U-Haul special projects.

    + Adapt to changing priorities and support special assignments as business needs arise.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    + Provide advanced operational support to field and internal teams supporting Moving Help and U-Box services.

    + Review and manage RepWest claims involving Moving Help.

    + Monitor and respond to service provider requests via the MH Field Support inbox.

    + Identify trends, analyze data, and proactively flag operational risks.

    + Escalate and track application bugs and systemic issues through established reporting channels.

    + Maintain a “call-first” approach to efficiently and decisively resolve issues.

    + Provide support outside of scheduled hours when operational needs require.

    + Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with all levels of the organization.

    + Analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable outcomes.

    + Accurately track, document, and report claims, disputes, and ongoing issues.

    + Balance competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

    Required Qualifications

    + Demonstrated experience in operations, logistics, or service-based support roles.

    + Strong working knowledge of Moving Help, U-Box, or similar operational platforms (highly preferred).

    + Proven ability to manage escalations and complex operational challenges.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Advanced proficiency in Excel

    + Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tracking and reporting tools
