    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Data Analyst / Developer** to support a premier leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll be part of the Enterprise Data Governance team, helping transform complex enterprise data into trusted, well-documented assets that empower business and technical users across the organization.

     

    Your work will directly support the development of a robust Data Catalog, strengthening data quality, governance, and accessibility across multiple business units and value streams.

     

    What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

    Working under the guidance of the **Data Catalog Program Lead** , you will collaborate closely with the Data Governance & Quality organization and key business partners to:

    + Gather, analyze, and document enterprise datasets for the Data User Community

    + Document **business glossary terms and definitions** , with a focus on master data elements

    + Analyze SAP data structures and SQL view definitions to document calculated fields

    + Build and maintain data artifacts that support **Data Catalog and MDM initiatives**

    + Support project deliverables tied to data governance, quality, and catalog maturity

    + Develop **data governance dashboards and visualizations** (opportunity for growth)

    + Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of data

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + **Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP tables, structures, and business processes**

    + Ability to parse and interpret **SQL view definitions**

    + Strong communication skills with both business users and IT teams

    + Solid understanding of core business functions

    + People-centric mindset with the ability to build cross-functional relationships

    + Advanced proficiency in **MS Office** (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)

    Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

    + Exposure to **Data Catalog tools**

    + Experience in **data analysis and data profiling**

    + Experience working in **SharePoint and/or Microsoft Teams**

    + Background in **process improvement or change management**

    **Pay Details:** $80.86 per hour
