Role summary:

Join Walmart as a Distinguished Cyber Intelligence Engineer, leading efforts to assess and manage cyber risks while fostering strategic partnerships across business and industry. This role involves developing advanced intelligence solutions, overseeing incident response, and driving collaboration among cross-functional teams to enhance organizational security posture. The position requires expertise in cyber threat analysis, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to support informed decision-making and safeguard critical infrastructure. About the team:

The Cyber Intelligence team delivers actionable intelligence that supports timely and informed cyber security decisions. By transforming raw data and external signals into prioritized, contextualized insights, the team enhances security operations and reduces organizational risk. Focused on relevance, credibility, and timeliness, the team enables faster response by cyber defenders and informed risk-aware decisions by leadership. Their work strengthens the organization’s ability to anticipate, prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats, ensuring a robust security posture aligned with business objectives and evolving cyber risk landscapes.

What you'll do:

+ Lead cyber intelligence efforts by analyzing threat data to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

+ Manage stakeholder relationships to align cyber risk management with business objectives and ensure effective communication.

+ Oversee incident response activities, directing teams to detect, contain, and resolve cyber incidents promptly.

+ Develop and implement strategic plans for cyber risk assessment, testing policies, and security posture improvements.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate intelligence insights into organizational readiness and operational processes.

+ Utilize advanced technologies to synthesize data from multiple sources for timely decision-making and threat anticipation.

+ Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging threats and adapting collection and response methodologies.

What you'll bring:

+ Proven expertise in cyber threat intelligence and incident response management.

+ Strong skills in stakeholder management, including identification, engagement, and communication.

+ In-depth knowledge of cyber risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and evolving security threats.

+ Experience leading technical teams and managing cyber incident response playbooks.

+ Proficiency in intelligence analysis, network traffic analysis, and intelligence collection operations.

+ Ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business objectives.

+ Familiarity with programming languages and advanced tools for cyber intelligence processing.

+ Demonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, CTIA, GCTI, OSINT, or GREM, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related area and 4 year’s Exposure of leading/ working on Information Security / Cybersecurity Projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
