    Description

    Astor Services seeks aPart-timeLPNto support the health needs of children ages 0–5 in our Head Start programs.25 hours/week, Monday–Friday, summers off.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide first aid and respond to routine health concerns.

    + Conduct daily health checks and basic screenings.

    + Administer medications per policy.

    + Maintain health records and ensure compliance with NYS, OCFS, and Head Start standards.

    + Review physical and dental forms; assist families in securing any necessary follow-up care.

    + Communicate health updates to families and staff.

    + Support intake and promote healthy practices.

    + Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, child-centered environment.

    + Use basic computer systems for data entry and documentation.

    Requirements

    Youmusthave:

    NYS LPN license.

     

    CPR/BLS certification.

    Youshould have:

    Experience with young children.

     

    Knowledge of child health.

     

    Valid NYS driver’s license.

     

    Pediatric screening experience.

    Salary Description

    $34,650-$34,650/year
