    Requirements / Qualifications

     

    Posting will close after 20 applications are received. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, starting at 1:30pm. Basic Functions: Organizes and instructs students in reading and/or language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, health, physical education, art, music, and other assigned areas of the curriculum, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Trustees. Promotes close working relationships with staff, students and parents. Teacher is under the direct supervision of the site principal or designee. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education Required: • Bachelor’s Degree • Valid California Multiple Subject Credential • EL Authorization or equivalent Experience: • One year of successful teaching experience in an education setting is preferred. • ***5 years previous public school teaching experience accepted for placement on the Teacher's Salary Schedule per OVTA contract (Article 13.2.1).***
