What We're Looking For
HNTB is seeking an Office Technician II to support a client-funded task order. This role provides administrative and technical project support, including documentation control, work order management, invoice review, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide Office Technician II support services to the client.
* Create, maintain, and update project tracking spreadsheets and develop progress reports reflecting current project status.
* Develop, organize, and maintain project documentation, including:
o Project invoice submittals
o Project schedules
o Progress photographs
o Safety documentation
o Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) documentation
o General correspondence
* Coordinate with staff and other project stakeholders to support ongoing project activities.
* Support work order management, including data entry and coordination with maintenance staff.
* Review construction invoices for compliance in accordance with oversight procedures.
* Assist with preparation of project payment packages and change request/change notice packages.
* Prepare meeting agendas and record meeting minutes for progress and coordination meetings.
* Support preparation of monthly progress reports, including financial status, hours expended, and activity narratives.
What You’ll Do:
+ Monitors project schedule.
+ Makes corrections from reviewer on inspectors daily reports for quantities, contractors progress and as-constructed data.
+ Reviews and makes corrections on inspectors daily reports for quantities, contractors progress, and as-constructed data.
+ Prepares/reviews contractors monthly pay estimate.
+ Maintains monthly progress photos and video of project.
+ Assists in field construction inspection as needed.
+ Assists project administrator in monitoring internal project controls.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
+ High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
+ 5 years construction experience
+ All jurisdictional certifications as required
What We Prefer:
+ Minimum of 2 years of administrative, office support, or project coordination experience.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
+ Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The approximate pay range for Maryland is $26.70 - $40.05. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
