Summary of the Job:
Responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring and troubleshooting HPE NonStop infrastructure systems. Ability to demonstrate expertise in said architecture, performance optimization, security best practices and continuous maintenance practices for critical systems. Ability to work closely with other team members, software & hardware vendors and end-users to collaboratively design technical solutions that meet business needs. Serve as a technical resource regarding the implementation and optimization of complex server-based configurations by providing expertise in various infrastructure platforms that include storage management, disaster recovery systems architecture, patch management and backup and recovery.
About This Role:
Sr. Systems Engineer:
+ Utilizes industry best practices to continuously develop andmaintaina resilient, secure,scalableand efficient platform.
+ Responsible for the configuration, installation,maintenanceand administration ofHPENonStophardwareand related devices and software.
+ Provideexpertisetocritical production issues and provide hands-on support when work volume dictates.
+ Responsible formaintainingmonitoring tools related tothe hardwareand associated devices.
+ Accountable for the administration of the organization’s backup, disaster recovery systems, and processes.
+ Responsible for the design, configuration,maintenanceand administration of the organization’s security patching systems for all server infrastructure. Regularly applyupgrades and patches for the associated server operating systems,softwareand hardware. Work collaboratively toassistothers in the deployment of application-based patches.
+ Responsible for implementing and remediating security vulnerabilities
+ Ability toleveragegroup policy management when possible
+ Work collaboratively with other groups when managing changes that canimpactthesystemhealth.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Sr. Systems Engineer
Ideal candidate will have at least an Associate’s degree in the related area with 5+ years of experience directly supporting HPE NonStop hardware in an enterprise server environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating team building attitude and skills.
Qualifications:
+ 8or more yearsofexperience supporting and managing change to the HPENonStopplatform. Including experience patching hardware and all components.
+ 8or more yearsofexperience supporting Hardware Security Module’s, preferably Atalla
+ 2 yearsofexperience with the Prognosis monitoring tool
+ XYPRO productexperience desired.
+ RDF/ DRNET (data replication) experience desired.
+ Advanced experience ofthe HPE concepts and facilities.
+ Advancedproblem-solving skills.
+ Willingto learn new skills.
+ Programming experiencerequired

Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $88,067.00-$145,309.00
_This role may have a specific starting pay within this range._
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
