HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The Sr. Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth with a strategic customer by developing new business opportunities and expanding market share across assigned product lines. This role blends account management, project coordination, and business development responsibilities, with ownership of the full customer lifecycle—from opportunity identification through execution and long-term partnership development.
Serving as the primary commercial point of contact, the Sr. Sales Manager plays a critical role in advancing Ferrotec’s strategic growth initiatives by aligning customer needs with Ferrotec’s technical capabilities and operational strengths.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
+ Drive top-line revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within assigned accounts and product lines.
+ Own the commercial relationship for assigned product lines, managing customer engagement while coordinating cross-functional internal teams to ensure successful execution and long-term value creation.
+ Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Marketing to develop customer-focused solutions and proposals.
+ Coordinate internal resources to support technical discussions, program execution, delivery performance, and ongoing customer support.
+ Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, revenue reporting, and product mix analysis.
+ Monitor market trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive activity; provide insights to support pricing, product positioning, and future product development.
+ Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial organization to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
+ Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business.
+ Achievement of objectives must include an over-riding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
+ Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
+ Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in sales, account management, or business development of critical semiconductor materials or solutions.
+ Major account management experience necessary.
+ Demonstrated ability to independently generate new business and manage the full sales cycle.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence across both technical and commercial stakeholders.
+ Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
+ Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
+ Strong analytical, financial, and forecasting capabilities.
+ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Due to the remote work status of this role, the starting salary range included in this job posting is a national average. Salary offers will depend on your experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location. Actual salary may vary due to these and other factors.
