Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $15.75 - $15.75 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Custodian:

+ Performs routine and comprehensive custodial maintenance of assigned facilities

+ Secures and unlocks facilities.

+ Cleans and disinfects all campus facilities (restrooms, offices, classrooms, labs, hallways and child care center)

+ stocks facilities with paper and supplies

+ Vacuums and spot cleans carpets and furniture; sweeps and mops tile floors

+ Cleans marker boards, desktops, windows, doors and walls

+ Collects and removes trash in accordance with established procedures

+ Reports and responds to emergency calls for custodial assistance; reports security and maintenance concerns

+ Identifies stains and uses proper chemicals for removal

+ Adheres to safety and health regulations

+ Maintains inventory and submits written requests for supplies; tests and evaluates new supplies and equipment

+ Moves and assembles furniture

+ Sets up for special events, as directed

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

+ Previous experience required

+ Work frequently with cleaning chemicals

+ Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and frequently reach, bend, carry, and balance items

+ To qualify, one of the following must be met:

+ High School Diploma or GED with one (1) year of custodial experience.

+ 20 years of custodial experience and be able to read and write in English or Spanish.
