Job Summary: Provide full support to QCMI in all facets of the Operations department to coordinate the delivery, restock, and inventory verifications of internal material requirements to ensure timely receipt of required materials and efficient delivery of products to customers.
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:
+ Understands internal processes in terms of processes and materials
+ Forklift certified
+ Computer literate
+ Must be able to work independently, accommodate schedule pressure and multi-task.
+ Must be organized and be able to communicate well with other personnel
+ High energy
+ Team player
+ Flexible (willing to take on other duties as needed)
+ Must be U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Comprehends English; proficient in reading and writing
+ - Schedule WIP based on Master, Customer Requirements, Internal Requirements and Equipment capability.
+ - Stage material
+ - Required to ensure travelers and any and all parts routing plans/paperwork is accurate and complete before moving to the next operation or department.
+ - Quality improvements and participation in quality clinics. It is the responsibility of the department supervisor to improve quality from their department, including reduction of customer submittals, internal turnbacks, rework and scrap.
+ - Coordinate material movement.
+ - Package material for storage and manufacturing.
+ - Collect and update blue traveler copies.
+ - Organize raw Material.
+ - Insure correct Manufacturing plan accompanies material.
+ - Maintain Material Traceability.
+ - Provides support to material planning and control.
+ - Tracks projects and provides status of projects in progress as required
+ - Maintains rework inventory list, schedules and tracks rework progress.
+ - Maintains inventory of Raw Material and WIP.
+ - Forklift Certified
+ - Works in partnership with the department supervisor, quality and engineering departments to insure that product quality standards are meet and maintained. If a quality issue is noticed at any time during the entire process, must stop the production process and immediately communicate the issue with your supervisor and Quality Department.
+ - Responsible for providing all his/her peers and reports with training when needed.
+ - Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others.
+ - Assist supervisor and work with peers to ensure your department meets budget, delivery, and quality objectives. Use and practice 5S methods and lean manufacturing principals to accomplish department goals.
+ - Attends organization and department meetings as needed.
+ - Participates in any Lean or SixSigma projects as requested.
+ Other duties as assigned.
