Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in SAP ABAP HANA, you will design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). You will work on designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components, integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Application Solutions: Design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on HANA version of ABAP, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. • Integrate Software Packages: Integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms, utilizing knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture. • Re-engineer Application Components: Re-engineer highly complex application components to optimize performance and efficiency, applying Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA. • Utilize Development Tools: Leverage ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and HANA Studio for data modeling and development, ensuring effective use of tools and technologies. • Ensure Data Services: Develop and implement ABAP Core Data Services, Database Procedures, and Text Search, ensuring seamless data integration and management.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to SAP ABAP HANA: Experience working with HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), including designing, developing, and supporting application solutions.

• Knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture: Familiarity with SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, including data modeling using HANA Studio and integration of software packages, programs, and reusable objects.

• Proficiency in ABAP Development Tools: Experience working with ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA.

• Understanding of Data Modeling and Integration: Exposure to data modeling using HANA Studio and integration of data services, including ABAP Core Data Services, Database Procedures, and Text Search.

• Familiarity with HANA Live Models Consumption: Basic understanding of HANA Live models consumption and ALV on HANA.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Working Knowledge of ADBC: Experience with ADBC, including its application in SAP HANA environments, would be beneficial for this role. • Familiarity with Native SQL: Exposure to Native SQL, including its use in SAP HANA, would be advantageous in designing and developing application solutions. • Understanding of HANA Text Search: Basic understanding of HANA Text Search, including its integration with ABAP Core Data Services, would be valuable in this position.
