    Duties & Responsibilities

    + Responsible for trading assigned fixed income securities within approved policies.

    + Communicate market related information to salesforce and management as directed.

    + Management of position in the context of the market within approved policies.

    + Generation of new trade ideas with the sales team.

    + Other duties as assigned.

     

    Knowledge & Skills

    MINIMUM:

    + Understanding of Fixed Income Markets

    + Ability for analytical thinking

    + Ability to solve complex problems.

    + Ability to work on a team.

    + Ability to multi-task and achieve desired results.

    + Applicable computer skills

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

    PREFERRED:

    + Knowledge and understanding of fixed income securities.

    + Familiarity with Bloomberg and the eTOMS format.

    Requirements

    _MINIMUM_ _:_

    + Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant work experience

    + Knowledge and understanding of financial markets.

    + Have appropriate licenses (i.e. FINRA Series 7 & 63), or obtain within 6 months after hire date.

    _PREFERRED_ _:_

    + Appropriate licenses (i.e., FINRA Series 7 & 63)

    + Prior Trading Desk Experience

    Work Environment:

    Fast paced trading desk; Travel may be required

    Compensation Range:

    $51,480.00 - $99,330.00
