We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Developer / IT Support Specialist to join our IT Department. This role is a hybrid position that combines application development, database support, and occasional helpdesk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a willingness to learn, and the ability to support both internal systems and end users.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
+ Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal applications using VB.NET
+ Work with SQL Server–based databases to support application functionality
+ Debug, test, and document code changes and updates
+ Collaborate with senior developers and IT staff on system improvements and new features
Database Support
+ Write and maintain SQL queries, views, and basic stored procedures
+ Assist with data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting database-related issues
+ Help maintain data integrity and follow best practices for database usage
Helpdesk & IT Support
+ Provide first-level technical support for employees, including:
+ Printer setup and troubleshooting
+ New user account creation and access management
+ Password resets and basic software support
+ Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
+ Document support requests and resolutions
+ Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees (equipment setup, permissions, etc.)
General IT Duties
+ Maintain IT documentation and procedures
+ Assist with system updates, patches, and routine maintenance
+ Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
Required Qualifications
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Basic experience with VB.NET or similar programming languages
+ Working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server
+ Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common office software
+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
+ Internship or entry-level experience in IT support or software development
+ Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems
+ Basic understanding of networking concepts
+ Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
+ Experience with SAP modules, implementations, and development
+ Experience in PowerBI and report writing

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
