Responsibilities

The Infor Middleware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations using Infor ION within a cloud-based (SaaS) healthcare environment. This role ensures secure, reliable, and compliant data exchange between Infor applications and healthcare, financial, and operational systems, supporting mission-critical clinical and business workflows. This position requires the ability to independently identify and fulfill responsibilities with minimal oversight, especially on critical matters. The role frequently involves exercising discretion and independent judgment, evaluating different options, and making informed decisions. The position is expected to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

+ 3+ years of experience in middleware or enterprise application integration.

+ Hands-on experience with Infor ION (ION Desk, BODs, APIs, workflows).

+ Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and data transformation concepts.

+ Experience in integrating ERP systems with external applications.

+ Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work independently in a production enterprise environment.

+ Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.

+ Open to travelling up to 50% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience with Infor CloudSuite (M3, LN, FSM, or equivalent).

+ Knowledge of iPaaS platforms, event-driven architecture, or message-based integrations.

+ Familiarity with Infor Mongoose, API Gateway, or Infor OS components.

+ Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, finance).

+ Prior experience working with vendors and managed service providers.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $70,304.00 to $89,148.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
