    Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in injection molded battery components, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tooling Technician to join their team. As a Tooling Technician, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring the precision and efficiency of mold and tooling operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligning seamlessly with the company's goals for quality and safety.

     

    **Job Title:** Tooling Technician

    **Location:** West Union, SC

    Pay Range:$25

    **Shift:** Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Alter and repair complex molds, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and special machines used in manufacturing processes.

    + Set up and operate various tool room equipment, improvising when necessary to meet production needs.

    + Read and interpret detailed drawings and work to extremely close tolerances using precision tools.

    + Diagnose and correct mold deficiencies, maintaining spare parts inventory for molds.

    + Work collaboratively with high-performance teams to implement continuous improvements and maintain safety standards.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + At least 2 years of experience in tooling maintenance and repair or an educational equivalent.

    + Strong knowledge of machine shop tools, including welding equipment, electrical testing tools, and precision measuring instruments.

    + Ability to read electrical, pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings.

    + Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and a learner mentality to expand skills and responsibilities.
