What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to monitor for security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as directed.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.

+ Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
