As a **Airport** **Security Professional - Curbside Patrol** in **Lihue, HI** , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour** **with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

+ **Valid Driver's License (+1 years)**

+ **21+ years of age**

+ **Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening**

+ **Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office**

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist staff, visitors, and/or the public.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.

+ Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or observations at the location.

+ Complete logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required by site procedures and Allied Universal policies.

+ Support access control procedures for restricted areas and assist with crowd management during busy periods at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ CPR and first aid skills are preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
