    Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Neurology

     

    Full-Time | Direct Hire | Palm Harbor, Fl

     

    We’re looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join a well-established Neurology practice in Palm Harbor. This role offers hands-on experience working closely with neurologists and patients in a supportive, team-driven environment. If you’re passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and interested in growing within a specialty practice, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your healthcare career.

    What You’ll Do

    + Welcome and prepare patients for neurology visits and procedures

    + Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and updates in the EMR

    + Assist neurologists with in-office specialty procedures, including:

    + EMGs, EEGs, nerve conduction studies

    + Botox injections and other neurology treatments

    + Educate patients on diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and follow-up care

    + Support medication administration, lab coordination, and specimen collection

    + Manage patient calls, messages, and scheduling with professionalism and accuracy

    + Ensure OSHA compliance and follow all clinic safety and infection control standards

    + Work closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow MAs to keep daily operations running smoothly

    What We’re Looking For

    + Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)

    + Experience in Neurology, Internal Medicine, or specialty care preferred (not required)

    + Strong clinical skills, including vitals, injections, and procedural support

    + Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

    + A compassionate, patient-first approach and professional demeanor

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
