    Adecco is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in Valley Cottage, NY.     Title: Machine Operator

     

    Pay Rate: $25 - $27 hour.

     

    Shift: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM (with potential OT)

     

    Temp-to-hire for the right person!

    Responsibilities include:

    + Set up and run a knee mill/Bridgeport machine.

    + Read and understand engineering blueprints.

    + Plan and mark where parts will be welded and build tools to hold them in place.

    + Create tools and fixtures to help with welding, drilling, and assembly.

    + Set up and use machines like presses, punches, and dies.

    + Work with the production and engineering teams to make work more efficient and keep quality high.

    + Keep the work area clean and follow all safety rules.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in metal fabrication/machine operation.

    + Experience with AutoCAD is a strong plus!

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.

    + Reliable, self-motivated, and team oriented.

    **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
