**The primary function of the Customer Service Representative** is to help the company retain customers and attract new customers.
Being a great communicator and having a desire help others while interacting with new people from many different industries is required. We are interested in candidates that can solve problems, project a high energy level, and possess a natural sociability that draws others to them.

Our customers include many well-known local companies, as well as Fortune 100 companies.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following:
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, vendors, co-workers, supervisors/managers, and salespeople.
Provides prompt responses and follow up to customer inquiries for pricing, delivery, and complaints as necessary.
Interacts with vendors, production, sales, and shipping to meet customer's expectations for pricing, delivery, and quality.
Records, files, and maintains all customer related documents, specifications, drawings, estimates, pricing, and correspondences in customer files.
Establishes selling price for orders and quotations with the guidance of management.
Enters and edits orders placing strong focus on detail and accuracy.
Creates and maintains accurate customer specifications for order entry and estimating.
Expedites orders through vendors or production as mandated by customer requests for delivery.
Responsible for active participation in New Item / New Account Meetings when needed.
Initiates purchase orders for purchased items.
Maintains perpetual inventory on approved warehouse customers and places orders to replenish set warehousing levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree preferred
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Job Type: Full-time
**Pay Details:** $50,000.00 to $52,000.00 per year
