Adecco is currently seeking Mechanical Assemblers to support a leading manufacturer of monitoring and protection devices for high-value electrical assets. This position is located in Fairport, NY. Candidates should have prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment and be comfortable working in a quality-driven, detail-oriented setting.
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing mechanical components and subassemblies used in monitoring and protection equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical documentation, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:
+ Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
+ Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
+ Perform fastening, fitting, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical parts.
+ Inspect finished assemblies to ensure conformance to quality and performance standards.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and correct minor mechanical assembly issues.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Accurately record production and quality data.
+ Adhere to all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements for the Mechanical Assembler:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical or mechanical training preferred.
+ Prior experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
+ Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
+ Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

**Pay Details:** $18.50 to $21.50 per hour
