Job Summary
Adecco is partnering with a client in Walden, NY and is hiring a warehouse associate.
As you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping seed products while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory Management
• Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing lists
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damage
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
Order Fulfillment
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Ensure products are properly labeled, packaged, and ready for delivery
• Follow company standards for order accuracy and quality
Warehouse Maintenance
• Organize inventory and warehouse areas for maximum efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces
• Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization
Safety & Compliance
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required)
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity goals
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding inventory levels and workflow
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems a plus
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (or willingness to be trained)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
