    Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description

     

    In this role, you will utilize a handheld bar scanner/RF scanner for primary recording systems to ensure safe and effective handling of materials. You will operate pallet jacks and drum dollies for containerized waste management and be responsible for collecting and analyzing waste samples. Proper storage of waste containers and generating barcodes for them is also required.

    Responsibilities

    + Use handheld bar scanner/RF scanner for recording systems.

    + Operate pallet jacks and drum dollies for waste containers.

    + Collect and analyze waste samples.

    + Store waste containers properly.

    + Generate barcodes for containers.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-4 years of experience as a general laborer or material handler.

    + Experience in packing, loading, and checking inbound trucks.

    + Proficiency in using pallet jacks, drum dollies, hand tools, and RF scanners.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to use hand tools and scanners.

    + Capability to move containers with a forklift or tugger.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sulligent, AL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
