    Machine Operator/General Laborer – Now Hiring

     

    Join a growing production team as a **Machine Operator** , where you’ll play an essential role in keeping manufacturing running smoothly and efficiently. We’re looking for dependable individuals who are detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and motivated to learn and grow. Full training is provided.

    Shift Information

    + **Training:** 1st shift for 2–4 months

    + **Permanent Shift:** Transition to **2nd shift** after training. 3:30pm-2:15am M-Th

    + **Flexible Option:** Candidates with limited 1st‑shift availability may be fast‑tracked to 2nd shift if qualified

    Key Responsibilities

    + Set up machines for production, including calibration and cleaning

    + Adjust and control machine settings (speed, feeds, etc.)

    + Load raw materials or parts into machines

    + Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

    + Conduct periodic machine tests to verify function

    + Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

    + Inspect output for defects or machine errors

    + Maintain accurate records of production, defects, and activity logs

    Essential Skills & Experience

    + 6+ months experience with **punch press and CNC machines**

    + **Proven experience as a machine operator**

    + **Comfortable working with high‑speed machinery**

    + **Ability to use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)**

    + **Understanding of production processes and safety protocols**

    + **Strong attention to detail and communication skills**

    + **Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift**

    + **High school diploma or equivalent**

    Preferred Skills

    + Ability to read blueprints

    + Tape measure proficiency

    + Experience with:

    + Press brake

    + Shear/brake press

    + Expander machines

    + Familiarity with hand and power tools

    Work Environment

    + Manufacturing environment **not climate-controlled**

    + **Bay doors open during summer; fans run continuously**

    + **Clean facility with some louder areas**

    + **All PPE provided** (ear and eye protection)

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waconia, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.92 - $23.92/hr.
