Job Title: Custom HVAC and Chiller Unit Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as assemblers for custom commercial rooftop units and chiller units for data centers. This role involves using various hand and power tools for mechanical assembly and participating in general labor tasks such as sweeping, shrink wrapping, and shop clean-up. As you grow in this position, there will be opportunities to expand into other areas of our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble custom commercial rooftop units and chiller units using hand and power tools.

+ Assist with general labor tasks around the shop, including sweeping, shrink wrapping, and clean-up.

+ Collaborate with fellow assemblers to ensure smooth operations in the assembly area.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for assembly tasks.

+ Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.

+ Experience in mechanical assembly and use of hand/power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficiency with general labor tasks such as packing and shrink wrapping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the HVAC manufacturing industry or with sheet metal is strongly preferred.

+ A good attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to execute a crisp high-five.

Work Environment

Work in a large, climate-controlled warehouse with windows and high ceilings. The assembly area is equipped with modern machines. The team is small and close-knit, with a culture that treats everyone like family. We offer a 2nd shift schedule from 2 pm to 1 am, Monday through Thursday, with training provided on the 1st shift. Breaks include a 20-minute lunch and two paid 10-minute breaks. The dress code is casual with steel toe boots.

This is a Permanent position based out of Maple Grove, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
