    Technician II – Equipment & Service Support

    About the Role

    A leading provider in the equipment and solutions industry is seeking a skilled **Technician II** to join its service team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial and construction equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Equipment diagnostics and repair** on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

    + **Preventive maintenance** on fleet equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation

    + **Troubleshooting equipment issues** using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools

    + **Documenting work orders** , parts usage, and service notes accurately

    + **Maintaining a clean and safe workspace** in accordance with safety standards

    + **Assisting with equipment inspections** to ensure compliance with operational guidelines

    + **Supporting junior technicians** with guidance and technical knowledge

    Qualifications

    + **2+ years of hands-on mechanical experience** in equipment repair, automotive, diesel, or related fields

    + **Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems**

    + **Ability to read and interpret schematics** and technical manuals

    + **Familiarity with diagnostic tools** and repair procedures

    + **Valid driver’s license** with a clean driving record

    + **Ability to lift 50+ lbs** and work in varying outdoor conditions

    + **Strong problem‑solving skills** and attention to detail

    Preferred Skills

    + **Experience with rental industry equipment** (lifts, generators, earthmoving, etc.)

    + **ASE or manufacturer certifications**

    + **Basic welding or fabrication skills**

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Modesto, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
