    Job Title: Quality Inspector

    **Pay:** $30-$40

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in a dynamic production environment. This role involves automation and electrical tasks, precision assembly, and blueprint interpretation to ensure high-quality assembly and inspection processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.

    + Demonstrate an advanced understanding of inspection equipment.

    + Ensure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.

    + Operate various precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, vernier, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), as well as hand tools like hydraulic torque wrench and fire torch.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.

    + Calculate basic mathematical functions including computation of rate, ratio, and percent and convert one type of measurement into another.

    + Read and interpret documents such as blueprints and technical drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of Quality Inspection experience.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and using inspection equipment such as micrometers and CMM.

    + Ability to read and interpret mechanical machining and assembly drawings.

    + Demonstrated ability to read and interpret bills of materials, parts lists, and material specifications.

    + Ability to review, analyze, and disposition non-conforming material.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Capability to lift 40 pounds using proper lifting equipment and perform duties while standing for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with control valves and actuators preferred, Valtek, Argus product lines a plus.

    + Knowledge of established quality standards, laws, and regulations of national and international authorities.

    + Knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly, and test operations.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a small, clean production facility. The hours are first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Chichester, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
