Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
In our Stoughton facility, we specialize in manufacturing sugar spheres which are essential components for pharmaceutical companies. These sugar spheres, known as suglets, are vital in the creation of capsules as they are loaded with medication and molded together. We prioritize quality and safety above all else.
Responsibilities
+ Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
+ Rotate weekly between two different rooms within the plant for variety in work.
+ Monitor each station and the process of creating suglets by mixing sugar, starch, and water.
+ Perform simple calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and document conditions at each step.
+ Conduct daily tasks involving sugar such as weighing, sampling, batching, and monitoring equipment.
+ Utilize a forklift to move products around the plant.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma.
+ 1+ years of previous manufacturing experience in a GMP environment.
+ 1+ years of experience following SOPs.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs up to 10 times per day and training on lifting 300lb barrels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GMP experience preferred.
+ Forklift experience preferred.

Work Environment
Operate in a GMP environment that is climate controlled. Uniforms are provided, and steel-toed shoes are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
