    Job Title: A&P Mechanic

    Job Description

    Join a Part 135 charter operation where you will focus on managing aircraft with a more reactive maintenance approach rather than heavy maintenance. Your role will involve servicing aircraft and addressing any discrepancies noted by aircrew prior to landing.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on executive business aircraft.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and occasional alterations.

    + Document work performed according to company standard operating procedures.

    + Ensure all known discrepancies are corrected and documented.

    + Monitor aircraft status for maintenance requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Airframe & Powerplant License.

    + Five or more years' experience in aircraft maintenance on turbine-powered aircraft.

    + Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with model aircraft such as Gulfstream’s, Legacy 600 Series, and Global Express executive aircraft.

    + Computer proficiency to access web-based aircraft maintenance manuals.

    + Flexibility for on-demand flight schedules per CFR Part 135 operations.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. You may need to climb, stand, stoop, bend, and work in confined spaces. Work could be performed in an aircraft maintenance hangar or on an outside ramp in varying weather conditions. Occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required. The role involves working on ladders and scissor lifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
