    Job Title: CNC Machinist (Mill or Lathe) - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team for the 1st shift, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM in Salem, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong operating CNC machines, specifically within a manufacturing environment, and will be proficient in working with Haas and Mazak machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CNC machines, specifically Haas and Mazak models.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

    + Utilize calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check tolerances.

    + Perform edits, adjust speeds and feeds, and make offsets.

    + Work with G&M Code and Fanuc controls.

    + Troubleshoot machine errors and conduct machine maintenance.

    + Perform machine setups and teardowns.

    + Conduct tool and coolant changes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficient in reading blueprints.

    + Experience in machine operation, tool changes, offsets, and setups.

    + Familiarity with using micrometers, calipers, and other shop tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Haas or Mazak machines is a plus.

    + Familiarity with lathe operations is advantageous.

    + Experience with Fanuc controls and programming is beneficial.

    The work environment is clean and safe, with operations spanning across 400,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities. Employees work in a collaborative setting with a focus on quality and efficiency. Our facilities operate multiple shifts, with this role specifically being for the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
