    Job Title: Chemical Technician** **Job Description

     

    Join a dynamic team as a Chemical Technician at a local parts cleaning company. You will start with a shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, eventually transitioning to either Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Be part of an essential team responsible for processing, cleaning, and inspecting parts and assemblies from high-tech semiconductor manufacturing.

    Responsibilities

    + Process, clean, and inspect parts and assemblies from high-tech semiconductor manufacturing.

    + Disassemble, clean/refurbish, reassemble, and prepare parts in a controlled cleanroom environment.

    + Maintain the highest safety and quality standards while focusing on customer and company values.

    + Practice inventory management to maintain proper stocking levels.

    + Receive, inspect, process, package, and transport parts and components.

    + Support and maintain processing equipment, including media blasters, solvent benches, ultrasonic tanks, and ovens.

    + Utilize mechanical and chemical cleaning techniques.

    + Daily use of safety equipment, including hearing protection, safety glasses or face shields, chemical-resistant aprons, and gloves.

    + Handle potentially hazardous materials, following appropriate safety procedures.

    + Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing appropriate garments and following micro-contamination protocols.

    + Adhere to all corporate, industry, and site protocols and procedures.

    + Ensure work area, equipment, and tools are clean and properly maintained.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

    + Knowledge of chemical handling and chemical production.

    + Experience working in cleanroom environments and with semiconductor components.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + General labor experience.

    + Experience in assembly.

    + Understanding of chemical utilization and chemistry principles.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
