Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician! $38hr

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician role is a first shift position that requires a professional with over 3 years of industry experience or an equivalent degree. This position involves planning and performing a variety of tasks to maintain, service, and repair plant machinery, electrical systems, and facilities. It includes a range of activities such as gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations.

Responsibilities

+ Plan and perform maintenance, service, and repair tasks for plant machinery and electrical systems.

+ Execute gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations.

+ Interpret wiring, installation, or blueprints for maintenance tasks.

+ Test and inspect pumps and associated devices.

+ Troubleshoot to determine and trace the cause of problems.

+ Perform routine maintenance and service duties.

+ Lubricate plant machinery and equipment.

+ Utilize measuring devices, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical maintenance experience of 3+ years.

+ Ability to interpret wiring, installation, or blueprints.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Experience with quality measuring devices such as calipers, micrometer, and tape measures.

+ Knowledge of PLC to some degree.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is dirty, involving exposure to copper and scrap. The position is based in two buildings, one of which has recently upgraded equipment. The schedule involves working 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, with every other weekend working. The shift runs from 5am to 5pm with a rotating schedule: work two days, off two days, work two days, off three days, work two days, off two days.

This is a Permanent position based out of Eminence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79560.00 - $79560.00/yr.

Base pay will move to $39.25 in October!
