Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet client specifications through rigorous quality inspections. You will review solder joints, PCB components, and more to ensure conformity and quality. You'll complete necessary paperwork and data entry related to inspection results, and work from drawing notes and checklists to document pass/fail outcomes. Your role will also involve communicating any issues promptly to Production when defects are found.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to verify parts meet client specifications.
+ Review solder joints and PCB components for quality and conformity.
+ Complete paperwork and data entry related to inspection results.
+ Document pass/fail outcomes against requirements using drawing notes and checklists.
+ Communicate issues promptly to Production when defects are identified.
+ Perform quality inspections on electronic components and materials in various areas of the facility.
+ Prepare components for assembly, and assemble them into electronic units.
+ Rework assembled units by adding or removing components as needed.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of experience in a quality role within the last 5 years.
+ Experience in IPC inspection and working in the PC board industry.
+ Ability to read drawings and blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.
+ Strong attention to detail and comfort working under a microscope.
+ Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
+ Clear communication skills with Production and Quality teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ IPC experience, training, or certification is a plus.
+ Experience with SMT, ICP 610, AOI Inspection, and visual inspection.
+ Familiarity with quality control and assurance processes.
+ Proficiency in using calipers, microscopes, and micrometers.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves working in various areas of the facility, primarily focusing on quality inspection of electronic components. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
