    Aerotek is seeking a Control Panel Wireman:

    Paying up to: $28/hr

    •This will be a contract position for at least 4 months but is VERY likely to go long term and turn into a permanent role with the company.

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic custom controls department as a Control Panel Wireman, where you will be responsible for assembling custom control units and control panels, as well as other control solutions such as HMIs. Your work will directly contribute to projects that involve specialty and hazardous locations, requiring meticulous adherence to directions and cleanliness standards. You will use wiring diagrams and schematics to build panels from scratch, starting with guidance from an experienced colleague.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble custom control units and control panels.

    + Build control solutions such as HMIs.

    + Follow wiring diagrams and schematics to construct panels from scratch.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials in compliance with 5S standards.

    + Collaborate with a team initially, then work independently.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in building control panels from scratch.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.

    + Ability to work independently after initial training period.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must possess a high school diploma or GED.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility is a very nice, clean, and air-conditioned shop that upholds 5S organizational standards. You will have your own work area and bench. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with additional hours on Friday and Saturday as required.

    This is a Contract position based out of Katy, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
