The University of Southern Maine’s College of Science, Technology, and Health (CSTH) has an opening for a full-time Human Resources Liaison. As the Human Resources Liaison, you will play a crucial role in providing personnel related support to faculty, staff, and administrators within CSTH. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and well-being of our vibrant academic community.
As the Human Resources Liaison (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dIuCBe36woOb98chZsn91nt05HcNSGD9/view?usp=drive\_link) this position coordinates personnel related actions on all College of Science, Technology and Health employees and acts as the liaison on Human Resources matters between the College and all other University and System offices on and off campus. This position manages compensation contracts for all College employees and facilitates the hiring, training, and performance reviews of each staff and faculty member; interprets, analyzes, and develops College, University and System policies and procedures; assists the Financial Manager with employee salary issues; and advises the Dean on all personnel and administrative matters.
The College of Science, Technology, and Health (https://usm.maine.edu/college-science-technology-health/) has programs spread across the Portland, Gorham, and Lewiston campuses. These programs include the School of Nursing and twelve academic departments: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science and Policy, Exercise, Health, and Sport Sciences, Linguistics, Mathematics and Statistics, Occupational Therapy, Physics, Psychology, and Technology. Together, these programs provide a variety of graduate and undergraduate degrees, minors, and certificates. It is also home to an Army ROTC program, as well as the Southworth Planetarium, STEM Outreach Programs, and the Composites Engineering and Research Laboratory.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to $51,000 commensurate with experience and is located on our Portland Campus.
