    Job Title: Controls Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team, where you will be responsible for building electrical control panels for a variety of custom testing equipment across multiple industries.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics.

    + Properly build and layout custom electrical panels.

    + Perform clean and organized point-to-point wiring on control panels.

    + Test finished panels to ensure they are operating properly.

    + Wire switches, controls, and run conduit (EMT Conduit).

    + Utilize a variety of electrical tools including tape measures, hand tools, power tools, and drills.

    + Inspect work to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Technician.

    + Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.

    + Experience with electrical control panel building.

    + Familiarity with AC/DC motors and motor control.

    + Experience with electrical testing and control systems such as Allen Bradley PLC.

    + Ability to perform conduit bending.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience in Industrial Electrical or Panel Building.

    + Proficient use of hand and power tools.

    Work Environment

    Work in a manufacturing, custom build, production environment that is relatively clean, organized, and temperature controlled. The position is on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime available when approved by the supervisor.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatfield, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
