Rework Technician / Soldering Specialist – Direct Placement

**Pay:** $23–$26 per hour

**Location:** Vancouver, WA

**Schedule:** Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

We are hiring a skilled **Rework Technician** for a **direct placement** opportunity. In this role, you’ll perform component rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering equipment. Responsibilities include electrical continuity testing, ensuring compliance with IPC‑A‑610 standards, documenting defects, and collaborating with engineering on escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities

+ Rework and repair PCB components using soldering equipment.

+ Perform electrical continuity tests to verify functionality.

+ Inspect PCB assemblies for compliance with IPC‑A‑610 quality standards.

+ Document quality issues and partner with engineering on complex defects.

+ Read and interpret component drawings and electrical schematics.

+ Replace components using lead‑free solder for both SMT and thru‑hole applications.

Required Skills

+ Strong soldering and PCB rework proficiency.

+ Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and component drawings.

+ Experience with lead‑free soldering (SMT & thru‑hole).

+ Previous experience reworking various board designs and layouts.

+ Computer literacy; ERP system experience preferred.

Additional Qualifications

+ Experience with electronic assembly and hand tools.

+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
