Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis that could become permanent in Boca Raton, Florida. This role involves supporting legal professionals in various aspects of family law cases and may transition into a permanent position. If you have a strong background in family law and are skilled in managing legal documentation and trial preparation, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial affidavits and related documentation.

• Assist with drafting and filing legal documents electronically.

• Conduct discovery processes, including gathering and organizing case-relevant information.

• Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and maintaining case files.

• Maintain and update case management software with accurate case information.

• Facilitate communication with clients to gather necessary case details.

• Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal filings.

• Provide administrative support to attorneys during hearings and trials.

• Organize and maintain legal records and correspondence.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and case management.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in family law.

• Proficiency in e-filing legal documents and managing electronic records.

• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation.

• Familiarity with case management software and legal document management systems.

• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and affidavits.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
