Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate III to join our client's team on a contract basis in Westerville, Ohio. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks such as verifying financial records, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate ledger entries. This position involves working with automated systems to generate reports and respond to inquiries, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Verify financial records and ensure accuracy in data entry.

• Prepare invoices and vouchers in compliance with company policies.

• Post entries to ledgers and general journals, maintaining precise documentation.

• Balance accounts payable and receivable records to ensure proper reconciliation.

• Utilize automated systems for data input and report generation.

• Conduct specialized research projects to support accounting processes.

• Respond to inquiries regarding financial records and transactions.

• Reconcile accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure alignment.

• Manage systematic transactions within specific accounting phases.

• Follow detailed instructions to complete routine assignments effectively.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Strong skills in ledger maintenance and general journal entries.

• Ability to prepare accurate invoices and vouchers.

• Experience with account reconciliation and identifying discrepancies.

• Familiarity with automated office systems for data processing and reporting.

• Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.

• Effective reading and writing skills for clear documentation and communication.
