    Description

    Position Overview

    The Staff Family Office Accountant supports accounting and reporting for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and related entities. This role is ideal for candidates from boutique accounting firms, wealth management, or HNW tax practices who want broader exposure beyond compliance work.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist with accounting for HNW individuals, trusts, and entities

    + Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations

    + Assist with cash management, bill pay, and expense tracking

    + Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting

    + Assist with investment and capital account tracking

    + Coordinate with tax advisors and external accountants

    + Maintain financial records and documentation

    + Support process improvements and reporting enhancements

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    + 1–3 years of experience in accounting, public accounting, or financial services

    + Exposure to HNW clients, trusts, or partnerships preferred

    + CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA

    + Strong Excel skills

    + High attention to detail and discretion
