Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Menlo Park, California. This position focuses on providing detailed financial analysis and modeling to support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will excel in managing large datasets, delivering strategic insights, and adapting to a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes.
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and interpret meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Develop ad hoc financial reports and analyses to address specific business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial recommendations.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting activities.
• Analyze financial performance metrics to drive efficiency and growth.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, preferably within mid-to-large-sized organizations.
• Proficient in financial analysis and accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Strong communication abilities to convey complex financial information effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Expertise in data mining techniques and financial modeling.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate and actionable financial insights.
• Open to candidates from various industries.
