Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will oversee renovations and construction projects of 2 antique and historical residential buildings in Downtown and Miami Beach. You will ensure all compliance with inspections and city code standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in property management processes and demonstrate proficiency with industry software. THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO FULL TIME OR PART TIME WORK.

Responsibilities:

• Manage property operation functions, including preparing financial statements and reports.

• Utilize Yardi Breeze software to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

• Handle month-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.

• Oversee construction procedures to ensure proper compliance and code.

• Maintain operating standards

• Review and prepare inspection reports to support property compliance and certifications.

• Collaborate with project teams to track budgets and account for renovation expenses.

• Support financial audits and assist with resolving any discrepancies.

• Provide insights and recommendations for improving property accounting practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or related field.

• Proficiency in Yardi Breeze software and other accounting tools.

• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and accrual accounting.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing general ledger accounts.

• Experience in preparing inspection reports and certifications.

• Solid project management skills, particularly in tracking expenses and budgets.

• Familiarity with renovation accounting processes.

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
