Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Fresno, California. This position plays a key role in supporting the Director of Human Resources and the organization by delivering a wide range of HR services, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. As a contract to permanent opportunity, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while growing within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and execute recruitment efforts, including job advertising, application screening, reference checks, and conducting interviews.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on employee relations and recruitment matters.
• Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Assist with planning and delivering staff training and development programs focused on attention to detail.
• Prepare and compile HR reports by gathering relevant data and generating accurate documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries, ensuring information is provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the HR Director to address human relations concerns and provide strategic input.
• Manage HR projects, including planning and coordinating activities that align with organizational goals.
• Administer benefits coordination, payroll functions, and leave of absence processes.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements by managing background checks, legal correspondence, and forms. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
• Proficiency in HR systems, including Paylocity, and familiarity with benefits administration.
• Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and employee market trends.
• Experience handling legal forms, background checks, and correspondence.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple HR functions effectively.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with employees at all levels.
• Knowledge of leave of absence processes and benefits coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
