We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in driving infrastructure automation, scaling cloud‑based applications, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technologies and contribute to the delivery of world‑class eCommerce solutions.

We are seeking top technical talent with strong experience across AWS, Terraform, and the HashiStack (Nomad, Consul, Vault) to support large‑scale online systems and modern application platforms.

Responsibilities

+ Lead infrastructure and automation efforts for digital transformation projects

+ Define SRE infrastructure requirements and engineering best practices

+ Build automation using Terraform and configuration management tools

+ Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions

+ Partner with product teams to ensure reliability and scalability of applications

+ Own reporting around online performance and system health

+ Build and enhance scalable infrastructure for global eCommerce capabilities

+ Define and deliver cloud‑focused application roadmaps and technology platforms

+ Oversee release management workflows across online systems

+ Maintain log centralization and operational visibility using Splunk

Requirements

Required Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field

+ 3+ years coding experience with Python or Ruby

+ 2+ years hands‑on experience with AWS services

+ 3+ years experience in business process or technology implementation

+ Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

+ Proven experience scaling cloud‑based applications with automation

+ 2+ years leading technical delivery of web capabilities (preferably eCommerce)

+ Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation

+ Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Rigor, Quantum
