Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong data management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in financial documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.

• Enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets, applying proper coding and classifications.

• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare routine financial reports and summaries to support audits and internal reviews.

• Assist with payroll data entry and maintain accurate payroll records.

• Address inquiries from staff and vendors regarding payment statuses and documentation requirements.

• Organize and securely maintain financial and administrative records in alignment with company policies.

• Perform clerical and administrative tasks that enhance departmental operations and efficiency. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or an associate’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

• At least one year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related clerical finance role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software such as QuickBooks.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment.

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in all tasks.

• Excellent communication skills paired with a customer-service-oriented approach.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and data entry in financial systems.
