Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting audits, and implementing process improvements to streamline reporting functions. As a contract position based in Neptune, New Jersey, this opportunity allows you to contribute to a dynamic team while promoting excellence in financial reporting and analysis. This role is fully onsite (5 days a week). This is a contract opportunity that will move quickly so please apply immediately to be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Ensure all financial reports are submitted accurately and on time to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare regulatory filings and maintain compliance with financial reporting laws and standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights.
• Perform detailed reconciliations to validate the accuracy and consistency of financial records.
• Support audit processes by providing requested documentation and resolving audit findings.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance internal controls and optimize reporting procedures.
• Communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software such as Epicor and QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial concepts to diverse audiences.
