Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in credit analysis and financial modeling to assess commercial real estate portfolios and provide actionable insights. This is a Contract position with the potential for long-term employment, offering an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within the banking industry. Must have prior experience out of the banking industry. This role is a hybrid onsite position but will start with 5 days a week onsite for a probationary period. Prior experience out of community or smaller banks is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed credit analyses for commercial real estate transactions to evaluate financial risk.

• Analyze cash flow models and forecasts to determine the financial viability of investment opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide recommendations on credit decisions.

• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing financial data and risk assessments.

• Monitor ongoing credit performance and identify potential areas of concern.

• Support the development and refinement of credit policies and procedures.

• Research market trends and their impact on credit portfolios.

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.

• Assist in structuring financial solutions tailored to client needs.

• Communicate findings effectively to management and relevant teams.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within the banking sector.

• Strong expertise in commercial real estate credit evaluation and risk assessment.

• Proficiency in cash flow analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.

• Solid understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.

• Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey findings to stakeholders.

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
