    Job Title: Land Development Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead and manage multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. The role involves overseeing all project aspects from conceptual planning through to detailed design, construction documentation, and permitting.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting.

    + Collaborate with designers and other Project Managers to ensure project completion.

    + Complete tasks and assignments within specified time frames and budgets.

    + Apply knowledge of design standards to develop engineering solutions.

    + Document solutions systematically and communicate them effectively to the design team.

    + Ensure project development meets budget constraints and design criteria.

    + Conduct quality assurance and quality control processes.

    + Attend client meetings and provide updates on project status.

    + Mentor less experienced staff to foster their professional growth.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) License.

    + 6 to 15 years of related experience in civil engineering.

    + At least 4 years of project management experience.

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and civil design.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design and permitting.

    + Strong client relationship-building skills.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring less experienced staff.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
